The members of Capt. Thos. Espy Post, G.A.R., will be entertained at a social session by Carnegie Lodge, B.P.O. Elks, at their club house, next Friday evening, March 23d.
The special feature of this social session will be the presentation by the Elks to the G.A.R. of a handsomely enlarged picture of the Post members. The photograph from which the picture is taken, was made last Memorial Day. Previous to the departure of the Post for the cemetery, they were grouped on the front steps of the Library building.
The picture is to find a permanent abiding place in G.A.R. Memorial Hall at the Library.
The guests will be entertained with musical selections in the lodge room and a luncheon in the club rooms.
