Envelope addressed to E. P. Holland, Commander, Post 153, contains covering letter asking each comrade to write his different enlistments for use in case of death, if widow or minor children should wish to claim pension. Includes blank forms Union Defender’s Service and Family Record and affidavit to be signed by Notary Republic. Also includes 3 copies of “Please read this at a Post muster” and Circular letter no. 1 from Headquarters Dept of Pa Womans Relief Corps, Auxiliary to the G.A.R., Warren, PA, 6 May 1862—all requesting information to aid widow and children.
