Giving & Volunteering
|
Giving: The Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall has embarked on
an ambitious capital campaign to restore, renovate and revitalize its
National Historic Landmark facility.
(See Capital Campaign section.) We
appreciate your generous support of this effort.
| The ACFL&MH is
partnering with the Chartiers Valley Partnership (CVP), which has graciously
taken on the responsibility of conducting our capital campaign. |
| Last fall, the
CVP received a conditional $500,000 grant from an anonymous foundation.
Provided the CVP raises a dollar for dollar match from individuals,
businesses and organizations in the Chartiers Valley by September 30, 2004,
the campaign will receive this major grant. |
| In the interests
of clarity, record keeping and one message, the ACFL&MH asks that all
contributions go to meet this challenge, and indeed to support the full
capital campaign. Through September 30, your entire contribution will be
credited to meeting the Community Challenge. For the duration of the capital
campaign, the Chartiers Valley Partnership has agreed to help meet the gap
in ACFL&MH operational needs. |
| All "memorial
and in honor of" gifts will be appropriately handled and acknowledged.

| As we strive to
restore and revitalize our facility, the ACFL&MH staff and trustees are
also working diligently to better our programs and services. With your
help we will succeed at both. Thank you. |
